I went in for lunch and was very surprised by the quality of the food and the choice of 2 different portions. Provided me with a variety of types of bread and a good choice of fillings. The staff was very helpful. I enjoyed the meal and would definitely visit again if I was in Christchurch.

Came here for a low key dinner on a weeknight. Place was quite, staff attentive and the vege 4 course special was amazing! Decent wine list too. Parking the only downside- had to park across Lincoln Rd on a side street. Will be returning to try other things on the menu :)

Due to travel delays, we arrived late for lunch (3pm) and found the cafe nice on a cold afternoon, very roasted and lots of food to heat up. The staff was very helpful and always present when needed.

This is close to my work, I go there for lunch regularly. They have a good selection of breads and fillings and you can order from the board, or they may anything to order from the fillings/ingredients they have. The coffee is good and the staff always very nice, friendly and helpful.

Have been a number of times over recent months and the quality is always good. fair to say not the cheapest in town but quality counts for a fair bit and it was good!

The New York deli has been in christchurch way before the earthquake and now has a new location on Lincoln road christchurch city end The food is delishious and the board has a list of sandwiches you can choose or make your own The coffee is superb and the new owners very friendly x excellent quick service Can&#39;t wait to get back to christchurch to enjoy again

There&#39;s an increasing number of lunch options in ChCh now but you can count on New York Deli for a great sandwich, fast service and friendly smiling staff. Warning though, take your time to read the menu and make your selection before hitting the front. There are so many tasty options you can get tongue tied and bamboozled, not that you could make a bad choice mind due.
